The 'Group' Menu - Settings - Promotions

This article will cover how you can manage and create a promotion with discount codes which you can enable for your Passenger Apps so your send your passengers an 'in app' promotion which they can activate to book with a discount promotion.

A promotion can be enabled in your Passenger App solution, a promotion is always linked to a coupon code. Here an example of a promotion:

To create a promotion, just hit the '+' sign in the bottom right corner.

To create a promotion, the following information and options are available:

• Name: Give your promotion a name.
• Connect a coupon discount action to this promotion: Here you have to link a coupon code to your promotion, the coupon code decides the discount you want to provide for your promotion.
• Start/End date: Here you decide in what period the promotion is active, available and shown in the promotion menu of the passenger app.
• Title and Text: Here you can create your title and text shown in the promotion. In the example screen above the title is: 'Demo promotion 10% discount' and the text is: 'This is a test promotion'
• Choose file: Here you can upload an image used in the promotion overview in the app.

Send a push notification to all app users
Once a promotion is created you can also send a push notification regarding the promotion to all app users:

Click 'send notification' and a pop up menu will open where you can create and immediately your promotion push message to all users.

When you 'Archive' a promotion, the promotion becomes inactive in will be available in the 'archived' section of your promotion overview.
