Setting up your own App store developer accounts

In this article we describe how you can publish your new Passenger App solution under your own company name as full owner of your App- and Playstore accounts before start of development.

iOS App Store 

The Apple ID (IOS Developers program) can be created with an annual investment of $ 99,-. You can create an account via the following link; https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/. Please note, the annual payment can only be made by credit card.

Incidentally, we advise not to use an existing Apple ID as we will need the login information to develop and publish the App. In addition, it is important not to register on a personal title but on a 'Company'. A DUNS number may be required for that, which is easy to request. This is self-explanatory during registration.

Google Play Store

The Google (developer) account can be created with a one-time investment of € 25. You can create an account via the following link; https://play.google.com/apps/publish/signup/. (For more information: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/113468?hl=en)

When registered please:

• Add [e-mail] in your Playstore profile
• Please add [e-mail] in Firebase:
  Login here: https://console.firebase.google.com/ add project, create the project.
  in the left menu click on “the cog -> Users and permission” next to project overview. Then add member [e-mail] with the role owner.
• Create billing account
