An active Cloud Connect license enables Business Groups to assign an unlimited number of Web Portal Admins and Operators. For admins and operators that wish to manage their group through the YourDriverApp mobile app, an extra license is required. This document describes the two options available.
Option 1: In-app purchase per user
In this setup every group admin or operator that needs mobile access buys a personal Business Dispatcher subscription as an in-app purchase in the YourDriverApp mobile app. This license will be billed to the user that purchased the subscription.
Option 2: Extended Dispatcher
In this setup the group owner activates the Extended Dispatcher license to the Cloud Connect contract. The Cloud Connect Extended dispatcher license will be assigned and calculated on a monthly basis to any user that has been assigned as admin or operator in the Business Group in the given invoice period. It is not possible to assign the Cloud Connect Extended dispatcher license to a specific admin or operator.
Users that already purchased a personal Business Dispatcher subscription as an in-app purchase in the YourDriverApp mobile app, will not be assigned a Cloud Connect Extended dispatcher license (in other words: will not be double charged).
How to add Extended Dispatcher to your Cloud Connect contract
The Cloud Connect Extended dispatcher license can be purchased and added to the Cloud Connect contract through the Web Portal.
Log in to the YourDriverApp Web Portal: https://portal.yourdriverapp.com/login
- Make sure you already have an active Cloud Connect Contract linked to your group.
- In the menu on the left, select "Cloud Connect" for the group that you wish to link the billing account to.
- Choose the button "Add Extended Dispatcher"
